'Duck Dynasty' Producers: Judge Cites 'Ambush' But ITV Wins Management Rights Appeal His daughter-in-law Korie Robertson posted the news to Facebook Sunday, writing, "We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord. He reminded us often of the words of Paul, 'you do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.' Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen the Good News of Jesus. We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again. We know so many of you love him and have been impacted by his life. We're having a private service for now, but we'll share details soon about a public celebration of his life." Robertson worked as a teacher and commercial fisherman before inventing the Duck Commander call, which turned into a multi-million dollar business now headed by his son Willie Robertson. "Duck Dynasty" aired on A&E from 2012 to 2017. By 2013 it became the most-watched nonfiction cable series in history. Presented in a sitcom-style format, it revolved around the Duck Commander business run by brothers Phil and Si, the bearded elders of the clan, and Phil's sons Jase, Willie and Jep, as well as their co-workers and children. Phil Robertson was suspended from the show in 2013 after saying that homosexuality was a sin, but his suspension was lifted after nine days. A new version of the show, "Duck Dynasty: Revival," starring Korie andWillie Robertson, will air on A&E this summer. Phil Robertson will not appear in the show. A film about Robertson's life, "The Blind – The True Story of the Robertson Family," was released in theaters in 2023. Robertson's wife, "Miss Kay" Robertson, was hospitalized earlier this year after a fall. The couple, who married in 1966, had four sons and 16 grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren. Phil Robertson also had a daughter, Phyllis, from an extra-marital relationship. FBI to probe Biden White House cocaine incident, leaked Supreme Court abortion opinionNew Foto - FBI to probe Biden White House cocaine incident, leaked Supreme Court abortion opinion

WASHINGTON − The FBI is looking into an incident ofcocaine foundin former PresidentJoe Biden's White House in 2023, as well as the 2022leaked Supreme Courtdraft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade. Dan Bongino, the bureau's deputy director and former conservative talk show host, announced the probes inan X poston May 26. The decision to "re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention" to these cases was made together with FBI DirectorKash Patel. "Shortly after swearing in, the Director and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that, understandably, have garnered public interest," Bongino wrote. The nation's premier federal law enforcement bureau will also be focusing on the case of an unknown suspectplanting pipe bombsnear the Republican and Democratic national committees' Washington headquarters in January of 2021 before the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol tied to the certification of Biden's White House victory in the 2020 election. Bongino said he has requested weekly briefings on all three cases and that "we are making progress." Citing "a lack of physical evidence," the Secret Service in July of 2023 closed andconcluded an investigationinto the cocaine mystery without identifying a suspect - shortly after the illegal drug was found in the White House. Biden was away from the White House at the time of the discovery. Republicans at the time complained about the unresolved ending. Rep. James Comer, R-Kentucky, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wrote in a letter to the Secret Service, "The presence of illegal drugs in the White House is unacceptable and a shameful moment in the White House's history." King Charles heads to Canada in show of support for realm eyed by TrumpNew Foto - King Charles heads to Canada in show of support for realm eyed by Trump

By Michael Holden and David Ljunggren LONDON/OTTAWA (Reuters) -King Charles flies to Canada on Monday for a highly symbolic visit showing support for the nation that recognises him as its sovereign but is coveted by U.S. President Donald Trump as a 51st U.S. state. Following an invitation from Prime Minister Mark Carney, Charles will open parliament in Ottawa on Tuesday, the first time a British monarch has carried out the duty since his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, did so 68 years ago. The 76-year-old king is still undergoing cancer treatment, which has limited his workload, so the two-day trip shows his commitment to Canada, one of 15 countries where he is monarch. Trump has repeatedly expressed a desire to annex Canada, a proposition fiercely rebuffed by Carney whose election win last month came partly on the back of that stance. "The prime minister has made it clear that Canada is not for sale now, is not for sale ever," Canada's envoy to the UK, Ralph Goodale, told reporters during a visit last week by Charles to Canada's high commission. "The king, as head of state, will reinforce the power and the strength of that message." Charles has made subtle signals of his backing for Canada in recent months, wearing Canadian medals, calling himself the king of Canada, and describing its flag as "a symbol that never fails to elicit a sense of pride and admiration". However, he faces a tricky balancing act as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is working to keep Trump onside over Ukraine and trade ties. When Starmer visited the White House in February he made great show of an invite from Charles for an unprecedented second state visit for Trump, whose mother was born in Britain and who has repeatedly praised the British royal family. Carney, the former governor of the Bank of England, said that had irked Canadians. 'MOMENTOUS OCCASION' Charles' trip, which he will make with his wife Queen Camilla, will be his first visit to the former British colony since becoming king in September 2022. On Monday, the royal couple will visit a large park in Ottawa and meet vendors and artists, according to Buckingham Palace. The king will then participate in a ceremonial puck drop to launch a street hockey demonstration before planting a tree in another part of the city. It will be just the third time a sovereign has delivered a "Speech from the Throne" in the Canadian Senate, an event which opens every new session of parliament. Charles and Camilla will travel to the Senate in a ceremonial horse-drawn carriage with a 28-horse escort to deliver a 25-minute speech written by Carney's government. Canadian Identity and Culture Minister Steven Guilbeault said it would be a "momentous occasion - one that brings Canadians together in celebration of our rich history, our democracy and the institutions that serve us all."
